Hybrid career fairs
A hybrid career fair runs a physical fair on campus and an online space at the same time. Students who cannot attend in person can still meet employers, and employers can reach more candidates without extra booths.
Decide who runs what
The university, the employers and the event team each have a part to play. Agree early who manages registrations, who staffs online chats and who handles technical problems on the day.
Choosing a platform
Look for simple student sign-up, scheduled video chats, a way to share job details and clear data handling. Ask how the platform connects with the physical fair, for example through codes at booths.
Keep both audiences equal
Online students should never be an afterthought. Give them their own schedule, a host and access to the same talks.
